Addysg Cydberthnasoedd a Rhywioldeb yn Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Gorslas

Mae Addysg Cydberthnasoedd a Rhywioldeb (ACRh) yn rhan gadarnhaol a hanfodol o’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru.

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru’n credu’n gryf fod gan bob plentyn yr hawl i gael gafael ar wybodaeth sy’n eu cadw’n ddiogel. Mae hyn yn cynnwys dysgu am berthnasoedd iach, sut i gadw’n ddiogel – gan gynnwys ar-lein – a datblygu’r hyder i siarad ag oedolion cyfrifol pan fo angen cymorth neu gyngor.

Er mwyn cefnogi hyn, cyflwynwyd ACRh fel elfen orfodol o’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru ym mis Medi 2022. Mae’n chwarae rôl allweddol wrth gefnogi lles a diogelwch ein dysgwyr. Trwy’r ddarpariaeth hon, rydym yn helpu plant i baratoi ar gyfer cyfleoedd, cyfrifoldebau a phrofiadau bywyd, gan ystyried eu datblygiad moesol, ysbrydol, diwylliannol, meddyliol a chorfforol – yn yr ysgol ac yn y byd ehangach.

Yn Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Gorslas, mae lles ac iechyd ein disgyblion wrth wraidd popeth a wnawn. I gefnogi ein gwaith yn cyflwyno addysg o safon uchel ym maes Iechyd a Lles, rydym yn defnyddio cynllun “Jigsaw” i gynllunio profiadau dysgu ac i gefnogi’r ddarpariaeth ACRh. Mae’n ddull ysgol gyfan sy’n cyfuno datblygiad personol, cymdeithasol ac emosiynol ag addysg cydberthnasoedd a rhywioldeb.

Drwy’r dull hwn, caiff ein disgyblion gyfle i ddatblygu’r sgiliau a’r rhinweddau sydd eu hangen arnynt i ffynnu fel unigolion, aelodau o deuluoedd ac fel aelodau gwerthfawr o gymdeithas. Byddwn bob amser yn sicrhau bod y cynnwys yn briodol i oedran ac yn addas ar gyfer ein plant.

Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi cydweithio agos gyda theuluoedd, ac rydym yn croesawu unrhyw gwestiynau neu bryderon – mae croeso mawr i chi gysylltu â ni ar unrhyw adeg.

Relationships and Sexuality Education at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Gorslas

Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is a positive and essential part of the Curriculum for Wales.

The Welsh Government believes that all children should have the right to access information that helps keep them safe. This includes learning about healthy relationships, staying safe – including online – and developing the confidence to speak to trusted adults when they need support or guidance.

To support this, RSE became a mandatory part of the Curriculum for Wales in September 2022. It plays an important role in supporting learners’ well-being and safety. Through this provision, we help children prepare for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life, while supporting their moral, spiritual, cultural, mental and physical development both in school and beyond.

At Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Gorslas, the health and well-being of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do. To support high-quality teaching and learning in Health and Well-being, we use the “Jigsaw” scheme to plan engaging learning experiences and deliver our RSE provision. This is a whole-school approach that brings together personal, social and emotional development alongside RSE.

Through this approach, our pupils develop the skills and qualities they need to flourish as individuals, family members and valued members of society. We ensure that all content is age-appropriate and suitable for our children.
